338 Razorback
Based on 10mm auto case
1:6.5 twist BBL
ideal load density and accuracy from ar15 platform with inexpensive brass
bullet weights 250-305 grs.

The dies that are sent with your gun are already set up with a sample piece of Brass. DO NOT CHANGE THEM !!!!
If you have adjusted the dies you may experience one of the following
shoulder is now too far forward…won’t chamber
shoulder is set back too far….split brass from shoulder having to move too far forward
break or bend decapping rod.
Those who use Quickload
do not change parameters such as burn rate to match your results. (Just the thought of this is ignorant based on the complexity of a multivariable calculation. Chances are you may have no idea what pressure you are running.)
there are occassions in Quick load where the bullet lengths are incorrect so double check this as your results will reflect this error
may split brass because you are way over pressure from bad input data or changing parameters.
Remember this is a necked down pistol case not a 65,000 psi piece of rifle brass. There for the optimum window of operation is going to be much more narrow and unforgiving. So if you want to change seating depths or try and get increased performance you will exceed the limitations of your brass.
Current Starline brass is not optimal and may be prone to split. Sig brass is very good brass, Winchester, Remington or older once fired brass would be good choices, cut down 10mm mag brass is another option.
For some reason this cartridge does not like H110 so save yourself the trouble.
If you have any doubts about your loading try a box of Underwood ammo. If the problem goes away it is 100% in your loading techniques. If it persist give us a call and we will help you.
This cartridge does not require a magnum primer
